Reminders
Field Day for Grades 1 - 7 will be on Monday, June 9. It’s going to be hot so don’t forget extra water bottles! Please have your children wear their Enrichment Day t-shirts. Also no flip-flops! Ice cream will be available so remember to pack $1.50 per student, along with their beach towel, drinks (no glass), and snack. The Father’s Club will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers so no need to bring a lunch unless your child wants something else.
Dress Down All Week! The students don’t have to wear their uniform this week. However, see the next item ….
Assembly: We will have one final all-school assembly on Wednesday, June 11 at 9 AM in the gym. If your child is in an “A” class (i.e. 1A, 2A, etc), please have them wear something red. Children in “B” and “C” classes are asked to wear something white. All are welcome to attend.
Lunch: Remember, there will be no lunch service on Monday or Tuesday. Lunch will be provided on Monday at Field Day but children will need to bring their lunch and drink to school on Tues. June 10.
Report Cards will be sent home on Wednesday, June 11. School supply notices for next year will be included the envelope.
Any student medications in the nurses’ office must be picked up by a parent by Thursday, June 12.
The school office is usually open in the mornings (only) during the summer months; however, Phyllis recommends calling first.
The Athletic Physical Forms for students going into 3rd through 8th grades were sent home last week. Please keep these in a safe place as students need to have a completed form on file with the nurse in order to participate on any athletic team. A doctor’s signature is required so please plan ahead. Also, please read the guidelines carefully.

Thank you’s
The Assumption Saints Team from the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Event would like to thank all who participated in the mini-relay at the school. The donations totaling $1200 have been submitted and the luminaries were displayed at the Morristown Event in May. However, because of the rain, the Morristown event was held in the school and the candles were not lit. The luminaries will be placed around the track at the Madison High School for their event on June 20th (9:30 PM) giving everyone a second chance to see them. Thanks again!
Seton Koons, team captain
