The After School Program is available for all students in grades K through Eight. This program is staffed by Assumption faculty members and provides students with supervised activities, quiet time, snacks, and homework time.
The program is available for regular or occasional use from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Parents are charged an hourly rate for services. The fee for regularly enrolled participants is $10.00 per hour ($5.00 per hour for siblings) and $11.00 per hour for occasional participants. School services are available each full day and are not available on half-days, early dismissal days, or school holidays. We cannot accommodate any parents who are unable to pick up their children by our closing time of 5:30.
Also, please note that you will be charged a full hourly rate for the first hour or any part thereof. Payment is on a weekly basis for regular participants. If you plan to use our program on an occasional basis, a registration form must be on file.
We also require a note at least one day in advance. In addition, the homeroom teacher must receive a note instructing her to send your child to After School. If you would like to place your child in our care, please complete the enrollment form and return it to school. Thank you for your interest in the After School Program, and we hope to see you and your child in September.

Our homework assistance program, Homework Helpers, will again be offered this September. As the pace of modern life becomes more hectic and demanding, many students are finding it difficult to complete homework assignments. As a result, many parents are forced into monitoring their child's nightly homework. Consequently, evenings at home can be stressful for both the parent and the child.
If you and your child are experiencing these nightly homework battles, you may be interested in registering your child in Homework Helpers. As an extension of our After School Program, students in grades 2 - 8 will be able to complete their homework in a supportive environment. A math teacher and a language arts teacher will be available to assist your child with the completion of his or her homework. The goal of Homework Helpers is to enable the student to function more productively in the school environment. Teachers will review and monitor the completion of assignments. Hopefully within a structured learning environment, your child will begin to develop a healthier, more positive approach to nightly assignments.
Homework Helpers will begin at 2:30 Monday through Thursday. A snack will be served and homework will then begin. Students will be working in one of the upstairs classrooms under the supervision of two Assumption teachers. A ten-minute recess will be provided at 4:00. Our program will close at 5:00.
As space will be limited, we recommend early registration. The fee will be $13.00 per hour ($7.00 per hour for siblings). Your child may participate on a daily basis or on a schedule that meets his/her needs. If you are interested in enrolling your child in Homework Helpers, please complete the registration form and return it to the school prior to August 31.
We look forward to hearing from you!
