Great to see everyone at Back to School Night. Looking forward to another great year with all of you and your children.

All back to school forms were due Wednesday, September 14. If you have not sent in our book fee (K-8) or necessary forms, please do so by MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19.

Cell Phones – we must be able to reach you in case of an emergency. Please make sure your mailbox is not “FULL”. Please remember to check the online bulletin on our school website for important daily announcements and updates.

We are still missing a few forms. If you have not yet returned the (pretty salmon colored) 2016-2017 Directory Form (with Volunteer Opportunities on the reverse side), please do so by Monday, September 19. If your form is received after Monday, we cannot guarantee your family’s contact information will appear in this year’s directory. Click here if you need a blank form.  Please direct any questions to Debbie DeAngelis (oakpark@optonline.net).

Moms and Dads….when dropping off your children in the morning, please pull all the way up in the front driveway. Parents should NOT be getting out of their cars. Teachers are available to help children get our of the car. Students should NOT be getting out of the car on the driver’s side. It is an active driveway and we don’t want anyone getting hurt. If you feel you must help your child get out of the car, then please park on the street and walk your child in.

Christmas Store 2016 (December 7 th)

Each year the children of Assumption look forward to the Christmas Store.  It is the day the school gym is converted into a magical wonderland of gifts for them to purchase for family and friends.  This magic could not happen without the help of the Assumption elves – parents, grandparents, and friends.  While the Christmas Store provides the children the opportunity to select from a large array of pre-purchased items, our handmade crafts are always a big hit.  These crafts items are where we need your help!

Christmas crafting is the place to be if you would like to sit, chat, snack and do a bit of crafting.  We meet in the multi-purpose room on Wednesday mornings (8:15 – 11:00 am) and in the evening on Tuesdays (7:00 – 9:00 pm).

All crafting skills are encouraged to attend – we have something for everyone to work on! nfl jerseys dallas cowboys ebay

Our kickoff for Wednesday crafting is September 21st and October 4th for Tuesday evenings.  Please click here to see the full schedule of crafting sessions.

We are looking for 18oz clean soup cans for a project.  If you have any to donate please leave them on the counter on the right side of the multi-purpose room.
