Monday, October 31 – Dress Down.  Halloween Parade 12:45.  Any student dressing in a costume for the Halloween Parade should bring it to school in a bag with their name on it.

Tuesday, November 1 – All Saints’ Day Mass 9:00 Church

Friday, November 4 – Dance 6:30-9:00 Grades 5 -8  $6.00 ticket

There are 2 round folding tables, 2 sconces, and a blue table cloth in the office.  Please let the office know who they belong to.

The gift auction prizes that were unclaimed will be donated to the Christmas Store for their raffle if they are not picked up by Friday, November 4.

November 17th and 18th – 11:00 dismissal for conferences and no aftercare.

Author, Courtney Sheinmel Visits Assumption
On November 30th Assumption School welcomes New York City author Courtney Sheinmel to visit with grades 1 – 6.  Included in her discussion will be her Stella Batts series and the first in her recently published Kindness Club series.   In advance of her visit these books are available for purchase by Assumption students in all grades through the local book store Short Stories in Madison.  The books will be delivered to school and autographed by the author on the day of her visit.  A portion of sales will be donated back to Assumption.  Please see the attached order form by clicking http://www.assumptionnj.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Book_Sale_Courtney_Sheinmel_2016.pdf for more information and to take advantage of this opportunity.

7TH GRADE FUNDRAISER 

Please watch for the KIDSTUFF coupon books coming home in backpacks Tuesday! The seventh grade is selling the books to help offset the cost of graduation. The books contain lots of money saving coupons to stores and restaurants you use often such as DICK’S, ACME, MACY’S, and FRIENDLY’S to name a few.
