CHILDREN’S BOOK DRIVE
Academy of St. Francis of Assisi in Totowa is a Catholic PreK-8th grade school. I recently learned that the school does not have a school library and one of the teachers is volunteering to build one literally from the ground up. Assumption’s 3rd grade Girl Scout troop 6157 will be coordinating a book drive to assist in her efforts. We will accept any new or gently used picture books, chapter books or middle school level books. If you could keep our book drive in mind over the break, we would appreciate any donations. We will collect books through Jan. 13th. Thank you for your help and have a merry and blessed Christmas!

BAGELS WITH SANTA DECEMBER 18
AT ASSUMPTION CHURCH
We are shaking things up this year and bringing Breakfast with Santa to Rauscher Hall Community Room on Sunday December 18th! We will be serving bagels and juice/coffee, taking pictures, and helping the young children work on some crafts and write letters to Santa. This is for all families as they leave the 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Masses! We are hoping for donations to support next summer’s annual service trip to West Virginia where the youth groups builds a home for a family in one week! Come kick off the Christmas Season at this year’s new and improved Breakfast with Santa.
