Students may bring their instruments to school in order to introduce a variety of instruments, allow students to share their instruments, and to inspire students to take interest in learning to play instruments. ENRICHMENT DAY 2017

CUB SCOUTS
On January 25th the Assumption Cub Scout Pack 34 held it’s annual Pinewood Derby. It was an exciting time for the scouts and their families. Scouting is a family oriented organization that develops character, leadership, communication skills, and good citizenship.
Boys entering 1st – 5th Grades (September 2016) are welcome to join.

19TH ANNUAL PASTA SUPPER & BASKET RAFFLE

The Religious Education department is holding its annual Pasta Supper and Basket Raffle on Saturday, March 18, in the school cafeteria. UNIFORM DRIVE FOR PHILIPPINES
Do you have extra Cross Country and Track jerseys that your child no longer fits into? Consider donating them for a good cause! From February 1st through the 17th we will be collecting used jerseys to give to Ed Thornton to deliver to youth sports teams in the Philippines. No size is too small, no number of jerseys is too large. Please drop the jerseys in the plastic bin that will be in the lobby beginning on Wednesday, February 1st. Registration is open for Baseball (boys grades 7th and 8th), Softball (girls grades 7th and 8th) and Track and Field (boys and girls 3rd grade through 8th grade). On Saturday, February 18 the 43rd Annual February Frenzy Basketball Tournament kicked-off at Our Lady of Sorrows in South Orange (172 Academy Street) with our 6th Grade Boys, 8th Grade Boys and 8th Grade Girls beginning their quest for the championship. 6th Grade Girls play their first game on Sunday at 5:30pm.
