SUMMER TUTORING WITH MRS. KLOCKSIN
Mrs. Klocksin is offering individualized one-on-one programs thoughtout the summer months. Review difficult material from last year, get a head start on next year’s curriculum, or explore topics of individual interest. If interested, please email Mary Klocksin at Maryandjon@optonline.net.

ALTAR SERVER TRAINING
Let the children come to me. (Luke 18:16)
One way the youth of our parish can serve the Lord is by becoming an Altar Server. What does an Altar Server do? The two main duties of a server are to assist the priest and deacon during the celebration of Mass and help the people pray by your example.
Father John will be conducting two Altar Server training sessions for boys and girls in the fourth grade and up on Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, April 5 at 4:00 p.m. If you are in the fourth grade or older, and would like to become an Altar Server at Assumption, please sign up for one of the sessions by emailing Linda.macios@assumptionparish.org, or by calling the parish office at 973-539-2141. You only need to attend one session.

3rd ANNUAL RUN IT RACES
Cold weather making your children stir crazy?? Ready for Spring? Come to the 3rd Annual Run It Races on Sunday, moncler cluny careers April 2nd at the Y Zone in Cedar Knolls, for a fun-filled afternoon of active play and educational activities designed to help and improve the health and well-being of children. Highlights of the day include races for all ages, including 1-mile fun run, healthy cooking demonstration, warm-ups from Barre 3, Peaceful Kids Yoga, and Crossfit, as well as face painting, spirit station crafts, a photo booth, and a giveaway with great prizes! SCHOLASTIC “HAPPY CAMPER” BOOK FAIR
March 27-30
The Scholastic Book Fair begins this Monday, March 27th, and will run through Thursday, March 30th. Thank you to all who signed up to volunteer next week. Please note, for those of you who volunteered to work between 12-2 pm each day, do not park in front of the school. We ask you to park in the street outside of the school or the church parking lot. In addition, there are a few spots left if you are interested in volunteering and didn’t have a chance to sign-up yet. Please visit this link by clicking here to volunteer your time.

Thinking of donating a book to our library or your child’s class? The teachers and librarians will be selecting books they would like for their classroom. All books selected will be placed in a baskets for you to purchase for them. moncler outlet polo 2 As we have done in the past gift certificates will also be available. Cash or checks (made payable to Assumption HSA ) will be accepted payments for students; parents may also make purchases using a credit card ( students will not be allowed to pay for books using their parents credit card).

You will be able to purchase books on-line now throughApril 1st. The books will be delivered, free of charge, to Assumption. After the on-line fair is closed the books that have been ordered will be given to your child through their homeroom teacher. ATHLETICS
Attention Track Coaches Needed:
Assumption track team is looking for a few extra coaches to help out. Please contact athletic director Kevin Bopp (kevin_Bopp@nylim.com), or Todd Kijanka, or Michael Ashton (m.ashton@enduringinvestments.com) if interested in coaching this great group pf kids. We are looking to start practices as soon as the snow melts from the track (hopefully that will happen this weekend).

No track experience necessary, practices generally run form 5:30-7:00 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays with meets on the weekends.
