CONGRATULATIONS MONSIGNOR JOHN HART “The Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD), a Catholic Charities Agency in the Diocese of Paterson, will honor Msgr. John Hart, pastor of Assumption Parish in Morristown, at its Wiegand Farm Golf Classic awards dinner on June 26. The Wiegand Farm Golf Classic is DPD’s largest fundraiser of the year, netting more than $100,000 in 2016 and attracting more than 250 golfers. This year, the Wiegand Farm Golf Classic is moving to Sussex County and will be held at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg. The event features a full day of golf on two courses followed by a banquet, awards ceremony and silent auction at the ballroom at Grand Cascades Lodge. Msgr. Hart, will be awarded the DPD’s Humanitarian of the Year Award, given annually to a person who exemplifies the ideals of Catholic social teaching and who displays kindness and a willingness to help those in need.
