As you begin your spring cleaning, put aside those uniforms you no longer need. “Slightly Worn Almost Perfect” uniforms will be collected in the Crafting Room starting next month. Check out the list of businesses that have donated to Assumption in the past. Look to see if there is one or two you frequent – you are going there anyway, right? – or are near your home or work. All you have to do is call or stop in and ask if they will support our school again this year. Once you sign up, Jennifer Thackery, the solicitor coordinator, will contact you with all you need to help make this year a successful gift auction!

5TH GRADE PARENTS:

ALL students who are 11 years old and entering 6th grade MUST have the Menactra (meningitis) and Tdap (tetanus, diptheria, acellular pertussis) vaccines.  If your child has already received these immunizations, great!  Please send a copy to the school nurse as soon as possible, but definitely before the start of the 2017-18 school year.

If your child has not already received these immunizations, please make an appointment now, to get it done promptly.  Your child must show documentation of these in order to enter 6th grade this fall.

GOOGLE DRIVE

Google Drive provides an easy-to-use Service that allows the student to create and organize files as well as share them with teachers and other students for more productive collaboration. Google drive has sub-applications that create different kinds of files such as docs, sheets and slides. To access google drive, a student can log into their google account and select the applications icon to locate google drive. ugg outlet australia auckland A student can easily create a new doc, sheet or slide by clicking the blue “NEW” button. When a student creates a doc, sheet or slide, their file will automatically be saved to their google drive.  Alternatively, when a student is asked to complete an assignment that is posted in classroom with an attachment in doc, sheet, or slide, it will also be saved into their google drive.  Because this is a web-based application, students have access to their files on tablets, PC’s, or MAC’s without having to install a program. GIRLS GOT GAME BASKETBALL CAMP

Want to have fun while learning fundamental basketball skills?  If you are a rising 1st – 6th grade girl you will want to sign up for the Girls Got Game Basketball Camp.  This camp is run by Mrs. Endres and Assumption Basketball Alumni players.
