NEEDED: FLEECE SWEATSHIRTS FOR THE POOR

A couple of Villager Angels board members are headed on a mission to Tanzania on the 26th of June.  They are planning, among other charitable things to bring with them a fleece for each elder.  We are looking for donations of new or gently used (please, no holes), full zip-up (hard for the elders to get pull-overs on), medium or large (they are small and malnourished) sized fleeces.  Full zip hoodie sweatshirts in sizes medium or large would work as well.

If you are able to contribute, please drop them at my house (23 MacCulloch), the Burani’s house (32 Depart) or the parish office (91 Maple).  You can also call me directly to make arrangements for your donation at (973) 722-4994.

Thank you,
Paul Boehler

5TH GRADE PARENTS:

ALL students who are 11 years old and entering 6th grade MUST have the Menactra (meningitis) and Tdap (tetanus, diptheria, acellular pertussis) vaccines.  If your child has already received these immunizations, great!  Please send a copy to the school nurse as soon as possible, but definitely before the start of the 2017-18 school year.

If your child has not already received these immunizations, please make an appointment now, to get it done promptly.  Your child must show documentation of these in order to enter 6th grade this fall.

Thank you for your cooperation and please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.

GOOGLE DRIVE

Google Drive provides an easy-to-use Service that allows the student to create and organize files as well as share them with teachers and other students for more productive collaboration. Google drive has sub-applications that create different kinds of files such as docs, sheets and slides. To access google drive, a student can log into their google account and select the applications icon to locate google drive. A student can easily create a new doc, sheet or slide by clicking the blue “NEW” button. When a student creates a doc, sheet or slide, their file will automatically be saved to their google drive.  Alternatively, when a student is asked to complete an assignment that is posted in classroom with an attachment in doc, sheet, or slide, it will also be saved into their google drive.  Because this is a web-based application, students have access to their files on tablets, PC’s, or MAC’s without having to install a program. Therefore, students can store their files securely and open or edit them from any device using Google Drive.  For more information about google drive please see the attached video or contact support@assumptionnj.org
