ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR FALL SPORTS
Soccer, Cross Country and Volleyball Registration for boys soccer (grade 7 and 8), girls soccer (grades 7 and 8), cross country (girls and boys in grades 3 through 8) and volleyball (girls and boys in grades 7 and 8) is open. To register, please go online via our website, Sportsignup. The link can also be found on the Assumption School website, under the “Athletics” tab. moncler authentication jacket An annual sports physical form must be completed and on file with the nurses before your child can participate in any sports activity.
As the soccer and cross country seasons begin shortly after school opens in early September, we would appreciate if you could register for these sports soon. If not enough 7th and 8th grade students register for soccer in the next few weeks, registration will then be opened to 6th graders. We are also in need of coaches for soccer and volleyball. SUMMER SUPPLY LISTS
In the past Supply lists/Summer work have gone home with report cards, this year we are going paperless. You will be able to find this information on Google Classroom.
Each grade 2 -7 will have a classroom that your child will be asked to join called: Supply List/Summer Work. Your child should login to their current google classroom account to find their incoming grades supply list /Summer Work.
Fashion Show 2017 – Mardi Gras and All that Jazz
Gift Auction The Fashion Show Gift Auction Committee has received some fantastic donations for “Mardi Gras and All that Jazz” but is ready to accept any more of your generous donations. Join the fun and check out the gift registry that has lots of ideas for the always fabulous Gift Auction baskets at My Registry. Also, feel free to design your own creative package. Monetary donations in the form of cash or check (made payable to Assumption HSA) is also welcome. With any donation, please be sure to fill out a donation form found on the school website under “forms” and return to the Gift Auction Committee. Thank you in advance for your support!

Help make this year’s Silent Auction a great success. The committee relies on your generous donations to put together unique and fabulous packages. Vacation getaways, sporting events, and concerts will be some of the packages offered in this year’s Silent Auction.

Calling Assumption Parents…
The Fashion Show Ad Journal team is already collecting ads for this year’s booklet, and we would like to invite all Assumption families to be a part of this wonderful event by placing a family or family business ad in the Ad Journal. It is a perfect opportunity to show your school spirit with an ad designed especially for your child(ren), or to advertise a family business and reach the 600+ local women who attend the event each year.
And of course, the 8th grade Ad Journal tradition continues! All families of 8th graders receive a special discount on an ad congratulating their graduate.

ATTENTION INCOMING 6TH GRADE PARENTS:
ALL students who are 11 years old and entering 6th grade MUST have the Menactra (meningitis) and Tdap (tetanus, diptheria, acellular pertussis) vaccines. If your child has already received these immunizations, great! Please send a copy to the school nurse as soon as possible, but definitely before the start of the 2017-18 school year.
