Weekly Word – September 17, 2017

Great to see everyone at Back to School Night! Looking forward to another great year with all of you and your children.

All back to school forms were due Wednesday, September 13.  If you have not sent in your book fee (K-8) or necessary forms, please do so by MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18.

Cell Phones – we must be able to reach you in case of an emergency.  Please make sure your mailbox is not “FULL”.

Honeywell Instant Alert – Please make sure you always press “1” to acknowledge that you received the alert.  Many of the families who received the “test” alert on Wednesday, 9/13 did not pick up because it was from “unknown”.  You risk not getting an important message if you do not answer.

Notes to Teachers – Whenever your child is not going home via their normal method, a note must be given to their teacher.  This applies to all students…PreK through 8th grade.  This is especially important for older students who make plans to walk into town after school.  A student who is normally a bus rider will not be permitted to walk into town without a note from their parent. Please advise students they should try to make plans the night before, as the Front Desk phone gets very busy during the last 30 minutes of the school day. You can also purchase a “Note for the Teacher” pad in the school office from Mrs. DeChiaro (sample).

Please remember to check the online bulletin on our school website for important daily announcements and updates.
