We hope to see you all at the Birchwood Manor this Thursday for an evening celebrating Mardi Gras and All That Jazz!! You will have the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes and support our school and students.

Once again, we are pleased to announce that we will use ClickBid for all bidding on Silent Auction packages. To register use any mobile device with internet browsing capabilities. Go to http://assumption.cbo.io to sign up today! Once you are registered you can begin live bidding at 12:01 am on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. Bidding will continue until the highest bids are designated as winners at 9:30 pm on Thursday, October 19th! One of the many wonderful aspects of Clickbid is that you can share the bidding link with friends and family who might not be able to attend the event. In addition, our volunteers who work throughout the event and the many fathers who cannot attend our fantastic ladies night out can get in on the action.

All winners will be notified by a ClickBid text and given the opportunity for a fast and easy credit card check out through ClickBid. Alternate forms of payment including cash or check made out to “Assumption HSA” are accepted as well.
SETUP DAY VOLUNTEERS
Come get a sneak peak at our wonderful Gift Auction packages. Join us Thursday morning after drop off at the Birchwood Manor to help our Gift Auction Committee setup for the night! Many hands make light work, so come on out and help and thank these ladies for all their hard work! It is a great opportunity to meet other moms. Food will be provided for volunteers. GRAND RAFFLE TICKETS
It’s time to get your remaining Grand Raffle Tickets in! Grand Raffle is a crucial part of our fundraising effort. Our goal is based on the sale of two books per student. For every two books sold, your child gets the chance to win one of the awesome prizes in the student mini gift auction held on Friday, October 20th! CALLING ALL ASSUMPTION DADS !
We need your help at the Fashion Show on October 19th. Men volunteers are needed to help sell raffle and 50/50 tickets, swipe credit cards, etc. Dinner is provided! CALLING ALL ASSUMPTION MOMS !
The Fashion Show Committee needs your help on the evening of the show. We are looking for volunteers who can spare 45 minutes of their time that night to help monitor the gift auction tables. It is a fun way to see everyone at the show and get up close and personal with the prizes. We are looking for people for the following three time slots: 5:45-6:30 pm, 6:30-7:15 pm and 7:15-8:00 pm.

WINE PULL
Everybody wins! We are still looking for donations of wine valued at a minimum of $20/bottle. The more bottles donated, the more happy winners!! Time to dust off those gift bottles that are not your taste, ugg outlet aurora albertville or head to the store and choose something fun! The night of the Fashion Show, numbered corks will be sold for $20 and matched to a bottle of wine. Everyone purchasing a cork will go home a winner, and donors will
be recognized. Last year’s winners went home with bottles valued up to $150 and the wine pull raffle sold out in under an hour! Please consider leaving a donated bottle in the box marked “Wine Donations” in Phyllis’ office. ***NOTE: This is a donation that cannot be sent in with your child;) Thank you in advance for your help! It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas Store!
Christmas Store 2017 is off to a great start! Our next session will take place next Tuesday the 24th from 7-9 pm, and Wednesday the 25th from 8:15-11 am in the multi purpose room. As always, children are welcome during the day!

Light the Night
Assumption School’s Will Galligan has been chosen by the Leukemia Lymphoma Society to be the 2017 Honored Hero for the Morris Plains Light the Night Walk. The walk will be held at Greystone Central Park in Morris Plains, NJ on October 21st. Every year the LLS chooses a survivor, this year Will Galligan and John Hyland (both AML Acute Myeloid Leukemia survivors) were selected. Please join Will’s team Will’n to Walk to support a cure for all blood cancers.
