SENIOR CITIZEN THANKSGIVING LUNCHEON
Grandparents of Assumption School, the faculty & children invite you to attend our Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon, on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the School Gymnasium. To place your reservation, please call the school office by Thursday, November 7th at 973-538-0590.
Please note: Parking will be available in the parking lot behind the school on the right side. The ONLY students attending the Luncheon are the members of the Student Council.

ALTAR SERVING TRAINING

KID CHEF – amaZing eZ appetiZers & Yuletide Treats
Join us for TWO more exciting classes – amaZing eZ appetiZers and Yuletide Treats. This is a hands on instruction in the Assumption kitchen for students from grades 3rd – 8th grade. Mrs. Sopira and Mrs. Guglielmo will share their culinary skills with you. Each experience will focus on a particular food group and end in tasting the fruits of our labor! CLAY STUDIO – HOLIDAY SESSION
Come spend Monday after-school at Assumption creating one-of-a-kind objects working in clay. Students will learn to use simple tools and traditional hand-building techniques as well as ways to impress texture into the clay. They will also strengthen their color and design skills as we glaze our pieces.
Please return this form along with your $65 check, for Peggy Davo, to the main office by Thursday, November 16th. All supplies are included and firing will be done in my studio. A portion of your check goes to the school. Thanks!
THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!
Only 3 1/2 weeks until the gym transforms into the North Pole. Our final Workshops will take place Tuesday nights, 11/14 and 11/28 from 7-9pm, as well as Wednesday mornings, 11/15 and 11/29 from 8:15-11am in the Multipurpose Room (across from the nurse’s office). PLEASE NOTE: Santa’s Workshop will be closed 11/21 and 11/22.

Additionally, each year there are raffles for the children and parents to participate in. These raffles are composed of items donated by the Assumption community. If you would like to donate a raffle item, or make a monetary donation to be used for a raffle, please drop it off at the office labeled “Christmas Store” and one of our elves will make sure it becomes part of a wonderful raffle.

Half of the proceeds of all sales go to offsetting the costs of their graduation. We think the book pays for itself and hope you can support the 7th graders!
