Registration forms for the 2018-2019 school year are due back to school by Monday, January 15.

SCHOOL PLAY AUDITIONS: THE MUSIC MAN
“The Music Man” auditions will be held on Thursday, 25th and 4:00-5:45 pm. Call backs for lead roles will be held on Tuesday, 30th from 4:00-5:45pm. Auditions are open to 4th-8th grade students. Anyone who wants to be in the play must audition on these dates. There will be a $100 fee to participate which will be collected with the audition form. Please return the audition form and musical contract with $100 fee no later than January 19th. The boys will sing “76 Trombones” or “Gary Indiana”. The girls will sing, “Goodnight, my someone”.
Rehearsals will start Thursdays in February, then Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in March. No more than 2 missed rehearsals will be permitted.
LONGFELLOW’S SUB DAY – GRADES 3-8
Have a special HERO lunch on, Wednesday, January 17th. There will be (2) choices of subs:
- ITALIAN – Ham-Salami-provolone with lettuce and tomato
- TURKEY – Turkey – lettuce and tomato
Each sub will include chips and a drink (water, juice, or milk)
I need to order the subs in advance, so please fill out this form and return it with your payment of $9.00 by Friday, January 12th.
Send cash or check, payable to Assumption School in an envelope marked “Attention Cafeteria”.
*Please note that this is a special event and not a part of the normal lunch ticket process! Therefore, the children who participate will not have their lunch ticket punched!
The children that do not return the forms will be able to eat the normal cafeteria offering of Chicken Nuggets that day, and will use their lunch ticket.
WINTER CLAY STUDIO
6 Mondays
(1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5 & 2/12)
2:30-3:30 pm
Come spend Monday after-school at Assumption creating one-of-a-kind objects working in clay. Students will learn to use simple tools and traditional hand-building techniques as well as ways to impress texture into the clay. They will also strengthen their color and design skills as we glaze our pieces.
Please return the attached form along with your check, for $78 to Peggy Davo, to the main office by Thursday, January 4th. All supplies are included and firing will be done in my studio. A portion of your check goes to the school. Thanks!
