Grades 2 – 8
3 Classes: 2:15 – 4:00
Fee: $55.00 (includes all materials)

Afternoon Art is an opportunity for students to enjoy and explore art in small multi-age groups after school. Projects incorporate materials and techniques not typically offered during regular art class.

It is finally spring and time for our last Afternoon Art session. For this class the students will be creating a sculpture using the letters of their name. They will design a different type style for each letter on heavy matte board. The letters will be painted and decorated to reflect their personality. I am looking forward to seeing how each student expresses themselves.

Please complete the attached registration form and return it to the main office along with your check made payable to Diane Spetrino. A portion of the fee is donated to the school. Indicate first, second and third choice. This will help in scheduling. I will try to accommodate car pools and special requests so indicate them on your form. You will receive confirmation of your class choice.

Come one, come all to the greatest school on earth!  Anyone who was unable to help with the planning of Enrichment Day but still wants to be involved on the day of can sign up for various volunteer opportunities using the SignUpGenius link below. There are many ways to help out, and we can work with your schedules. Now that the planning is done, we are counting on parent volunteers to help Enrichment Day run as smoothly as possible!

Also, for students in Grades K-6 ONLY, please sign the attached waiver and return it to school by Friday May 4.  If your child does not have a signed waiver, he or she will not be able to participate in the fun activities we have planned with our visiting circus school on Enrichment Day. All activities are safe, age appropriate and will be closely monitored by professionals, however, this waiver is a standard procedure required by the circus school. A copy of this waiver should also have been sent home in your children’s folders last week.  You can list all of your children (K-6) on one form if you would like.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and prompt return of the waiver!

Assumption Enrichment Day will be held on Friday, May 11th.  The Hospitality Committee provides breakfast and lunch for all of the Enrichment Day volunteers as well as the teachers.  We hope you can help with this special day by contributing an item from the attached list.  If you are able to provide something, please click “sign-up” for the item you wish to contribute. Thank You!
