A baby asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?” God said, “Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you.” The baby asked, “Who will protect me?” God said, “Your angel will defend you even if it means risking her life. “The baby said, “God, please tell me my angel’s name”. God said, “you will simply call her Mommy“.
Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful moms. I hope you enjoy your special day. Please know you are appreciated by all of us at school.
A great, big Circus thank you to Emily Harding, Stephanie Vieira, Kate Tully and all their committees for another great Enrichment Day – one of the happiest days here at Assumption.

ENRICHMENT DAY – THANK YOU
Clearly Assumption truly is the Greatest School on Earth!!
On behalf of the Enrichment Committee, we would like to thank our entire school community for helping to make Enrichment Day 2018 a wonderful success! First, we would like to thank our amazing Committee Volunteers – you all worked late hours, early mornings and made the circus theme come to life throughout the school in so many ways. Your dedication and creativity is incredible and we are beyond grateful. We would also like to thank all of the parent/grandparent volunteers and Scavenger Hunt volunteers that participated on Friday. We know how busy people are and we are so appreciative of your time, energy and excitement. All of our volunteers helped make the day run smoothly, kept the kids safe and happy and, most importantly, made it fun! We would also like to thank the Hospitality Committee for the beautiful spread of delicious food that they provided throughout the day.
We would like to thank the teachers and staff for your support, flexibility, patience and enthusiasm. The students look up to you and follow your lead, so your excitement really makes a difference. A special thanks to the dunk tank volunteers – you have truly gone above and beyond in what you will do to make these kids smile and boy did they smile!
Finally, to Sister Merris – you are the Ringmaster of this Circus and your leadership, your support and the way you embraced the spirit of the day is an inspiration. We thank you for everything you did for us and the students.
We hope you all enjoyed the experience as much as we did…thank you for making Under the Assumption Big Top a roaring success!
Sincerely,
Enrichment Committee
Emily Harding, Kate Tully & Stephanie Vieira
