NEW DISMISSAL PROCEDURE EFFECTIVE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26TH

In order to provide a safe environment for our children and school staff, we have been advised to update our dismissal procedures by the Morristown Police Department as well as several other safety and security personnel in the Morris School District. Therefore, effective Monday, November 26, 2018 the following changes will take effect:

  • All school doors will remain locked during dismissal
  • Parents will no longer enter the building during dismissal
  • Bus riders will be dismissed as usual
  • At 2:25 cars will be allowed to enter single file in the front driveway (PLEASE PULL ALL THE WAY FORWARD)
  • Every family will be given two name tags for your vehicle, which will be displayed on your front passenger visor
  • School staff will be assisting students entering vehicles on the passenger side only
  • Walkers will dismissed after car riders
  • There will be no parking in the back-parking lot after pre-school dismissal

We understand and appreciate change can be a challenge but please keep in mind this is being done to provide a safe environment for our children and staff.

Thank you in advance for your patience and support.

KIDSTUFF COUPON SAVINGS BOOK

Please check your kids’ backpack this week for the KidStuff coupon savings book!  I know many people are finding last year’s coupon book under a seat in their car at this point, BUT there are some exciting changes to the sale this year that make it both easier to sell and use the book!

Online selling to family and friends is super easy with the link provided in the letter coming home, AND an app is included with each purchased book!  No need to worry about having the book with you (app is disabled with books returned unpurchased).

The 7th grade parents and students hope every student will buy or sell at least one coupon book in support of their fundraising to defray costs of their 8th grade graduation.

We all have that family member that LOVES coupons – this is the perfect gift !

Sale ends 11/27/18 , after Thanksgiving weekend.

Thank you so much in advance !
