ASSUMPTION SCHOOL’S 2ND ANNUAL GOLF OPEN
GOLF OPEN IS IN TWO WEEKS!
Please consider supporting Assumption’s newest tradition, the Annual Golf Open, in the following ways:
SPONSORSHIP: there are opportunities at all levels to advertise your business or show your family support. We are also in need of a big-screen television for the raffle if you’d like to purchase or make a cash contribution. Visit this link for more: https://birdeasepro.com/event/sponsorships/10704/
WINE and WHISKEY: donate new, unopened bottles of wine or spirits valued at $20+ to the Wine and Whiskey pull. Bottles can be dropped to the main office. To simplify the donation process, we arranged online purchase and delivery with Cambridge Wines to make your donation. They will store the wine and deliver to Morris County Golf Club on May 20th. In addition to this convenient process, Cambridge Wines will donate 15% of total sales back to Assumption School. Donate here: https://www.cambridgewinesnj.com/our-services/wine-pull/assumption-school-wine-pull/
GOLFERS: a few more spots remain! Golfers of ALL levels welcome! Register as a foursome, twosome, or individual…we will find a great spot for you! Come out, meet new people, enjoy gorgeous surroundings, and support our amazing school community. Register now: https://birdeasepro.com/event/register/10704/

Pack your bags – we are headed on a trip Around The World! We are ready to kick off Enrichment Day 2019 – Assumption’s Adventure Around the World – May 10th! Details about the day including drop-off and dismissal procedures, attire, etc., were sent home with your children and can also be found on the Assumption website under Forms.
Anyone who was unable to help with the planning of Enrichment Day but still wants to be involved on the day of can sign up for various volunteer opportunities using the SignUpGenius link below. There are many ways to help out, and we can work with your schedules. Now that the planning is done, we are counting on parent volunteers to help Enrichment Day run as smoothly as possible!
All students PreK-8 must return the attached allergy permission slip
by Friday, May 3 or they will not be permitted to have one of the snacks provided. The permission slip details the snacks which will be offered during the students’ time in the lobby.
Also, for students in Grades K-8 ONLY, please sign the attached waiver
and return it to school by Friday May 3. If your child does not have a signed waiver, he or she will not be able to participate in the fun inflatables activities we have planned in the gym. All activities are safe, age appropriate and will be closely monitored by professionals, however, this waiver is a standard procedure required by the rental company. A copy of this waiver should also have been sent home in your children’s folders last week. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and prompt return of the waiver!

Your child (grades PreK3-7th grade) should have brought home a yellow letter and envelope via backpack regarding our Grade Level Donation request for Gift and Silent Auction. Happy Spring! The Fashion Show Gift Auction is kicking off another exciting season! We are doing things a little differently this year because of the new pick-up procedures. Instead of a lobby display, you will find all of our items online. The registry is fully stocked with lots of fun ideas. You can donate a single item or go in with a group for a one-of-a-kind package! The registry is a great way to customize your donation and make it unique! Thank you in advance to all our Assumption Families for their support.
Once you have made a purchase from the registry, please be sure to download and fill out a donation form
and send it into school with your child marked “Attention Gift Auction.” The form can also be found in the school office.
Please feel free to contact a Gift Auction Committee member with any questions.

Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Safari Celebration that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
If you have any uniforms that your children have outgrown and are no longer going to use, please drop them off in the All Purpose Room at school in anticipation of the annual uniform swap in June.
