WEDNESDAY, September 4 – School resumes Grades 1 -8 11:00 a.m. dismissal/no after care Kindergarten orientation 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. THURSDAY, September 5 – Grades K-8 9:00 a.m. Back to School Mass at Church 11:00 a.m. dismissal/no after care FRIDAY, September 6 – Grades K-8 11:00 a.m. dismissal/no after care Preschool orientation 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.


  • The Fourth grades are moved over to the main first floor corridor and Kindergarten C is over where 4B used to be.  That puts all three Kindergartens closer together.
  • Cell Phones – we must be able to reach you in case of an emergency.  Please make sure your mailbox is not “FULL”.

Online Registration For Soccer, Cross Country and Volleyball  We need additional 7th and 8th grade boys for soccer.  If not enough 7th and 8th grade students register for boys soccer by Wednesday, September 4th, registration will then be opened to 6th graders.  To register for boys soccer (grades 7 and 8), girls soccer (grades 7 and 8), cross country (girls and boys in grades 3 through 8), and volleyball (girls and boys in grades 7 and 8) please go online via our website,   The link can also be found on the Assumption School website, under the “Athletics” tab.   An annual sports physical form must be completed and on file with the nurses before your child can participate in any sports activity.

ASSUMPTION FALL FASHION SHOW – Thursday, October 17, 2019

Thank you to all of our Assumption Families who have already donated to our Fall Fashion Show!  Our Gift and Silent Auction committees have been meeting over the summer.  The success of this school fundraiser depends on the generosity of all of our Assumption Families.  Please consider making a family donation or partner with a few other families on a group donation.  We greatly appreciate your support of this event!  Please visit the new Fashion Show Page on the school website for important forms and information.

Our Grand Raffle prize this year is once again a $10,000 American Express gift card.   Each student will receive 2 books in their Family Packet on Mon. Sept. 9th.  If you would like to get a jump start on selling your tickets, please consider signing up to sell raffle tickets at one of the Off Premise locations.  For each book sold, your student will receive a chance to win a prize patrol prize every Friday during lunch.  For every 2 books sold, your student will receive a chance to win a Mini Gift Auction prize Friday after our event.

PRESENTATION ON VAPING:  WHAT’S BEHIND THE SMOKE  On Wednesday, September 25th Ellie Plutto MA, LAC, NCC Morris County Substance Use Navigator will give a talk entitled: “Vaping:  what’s behind the smoke?”  During this talk Ellie will cover what vape is, what the vape devices look like and what harm vape can cause.  The trend in vaping for both girls and boys in middle and high schools has exploded both nationally and locally in the last few years.  Ellie will present to the 5th -8th grade students at 12:45pm and then again to the parents at 7pm in the gym.   All parents are encouraged to attend this talk as education about the dangers of vape need to start at home.
