Our Christmas Store Workshop is opening back up this Thursday, November 7th 7:00-9:00 and on Friday, November 8th 8:15-11:00. Please join us in the Multi Purpose Room (next door to PreK3) to help us get ready for one of the most magical days of the school year! Believe it or not- we are only about a month away to the big event!

If you are unable to attend, but would like to wrap presents at home, please contact Meredith Ricciardi at m.ricciardi@optimum.net. Santa’s elves will provide the wrapping paper and tags.

Lastly, each year there are raffles for the children and parents. These raffles are composed donations from the Assumption community. Our wish list includes gifts such as the Nintendo Switch, Chrome Book, American Girl Doll, Legos, Air Pods, or any other hot item you think the kids would enjoy. If you would like to donate a raffle item or make a monetary donation towards the raffles, please contact Stephanie Vieira at svieira1129@mail.com.



NJ state law requires all pre-school children to receive the flu vaccine annually. If you have not already done so, please provide documentation from your doctor that your child has had the vaccine by December 1, 2019. Any child without proper documentation will not be allowed to return to school.

We are pleased to be partnering with Bricks4Kidz to offer two after school enrichment classes for Assumption students. Each week, students will build a different motorized model using LEGO Technic and will explore topics such as Inventions, Life Science, and Technology. The class will be fun, exciting and educational!

The course is $100 for a 6 week session that will take place in cafeteria for grades 3-5 and one of the old classrooms in Kindergarten wing for K-2 . We can accommodate 15 students for K-2 and 20 students for grades 3-5. Please only sign up for the appropriate age group!

Tuesdays 2:30-3:30 (grades K-2) 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 11/26, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17

Wednesday 2:30-3:30 (grades 3-5) 11/6, 11/13, 11/20, (break for Thanksgiving) 12/4, 12/11, 12/18

Assumption’s Annual Blood Drive will be held on Sunday, November 10th from 8:30-1:30pm in the school gym. The Red Cross highly encourages all donors to schedule an appointment in order to assist with staffing the blood drive. To schedule an appointment, visit www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor keyword: Assumption School. Donors must be 17 years of age (or 16 years old with parental consent. November 11, 18, 25 and December 2, 9, 16

Come spend Monday after-school at Assumption creating one-of-a-kind objects working in clay. Students will learn to use simple tools and traditional hand-building techniques as well as ways to impress texture into the clay. They will also strengthen their color and design skills as we glaze our pieces.

Please return this form along with your $78 check, for Peggy Davo, to the main office by Thursday, November 7th. All supplies are included and firing will be done in my studio. A portion of your check goes to the school. Thanks!


Once again, the Bishop has graciously agreed to have a “Pizza Night with the Bishop”. The evening event will take place on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will be located at Morris Catholic High School in Denville.
