CUPS aren’t just for tea!! In this class we will be making hamburger/cheeseburger cups, mac & cheese cups and to finish off cookies & cream blondies!!
Here are the particulars:
Thursday, December 12
Class will begin at 2:30 and end at 4:00 pm
We will meet in the Computer Room.
Dismissal will be via the doors near the Music Room (the teacher’s parking lot)
Your child might want to bring a water bottle.
The cost is $40.00 per class. Checks should be made out to S. Sopira or S. Guglielmo, or cash.(Checks are non-refundable). Please see the attached form for further information.

CHRISTMAS TOY COLLECTION
Looking to make some room in your home before Santa arrives with new toys? Please consider donating new and gently used toys to the John Corr Family Resources Newark Christmas party. Each year, the Newark Vocational School is transformed into a winter wonderland for the most disadvantaged families of Newark. While children play and meet Santa, parents are allowed to “shop” for gifts to put under their Christmas trees. JCFR relies on donations to be sure there are enough gifts for everyone. Last year, 380 children and their families attended this special event. There will be a collection bin in the lobby from November 25th through December 6th for any toys that have outgrown your home. In addition, a “wish list” has been created to purchase new toys to round out the offerings. Items purchased through this link will be sent directly to those at Villa Walsh who are planning the event.

ATTENTION ALL PRE-SCHOOL PARENTS
NJ state law requires all pre-school children to receive the flu vaccine annually. If you have not already done so, please provide documentation from your doctor that your child has had the vaccine by December 1, 2019. Any child without proper documentation will not be allowed to return to school.

CHRISTMAS COOKIES FOR THE TROOPS
Father Luke is once again looking to send dozens of Christmas cards and cookies to our troops. You can help in the following ways:
By providing homemade cookies, and lots of them! You do not need to bake from scratch; the refrigerator type of cookie dough is just fine. Please bring your cookies to the parish office on Thursday and Friday, December 5 and 6
By donating money to cover the cost of shipping. You can bring in your donation to help offset the cost of shipping to the parish office or mail it to Assumption Church c/o Fr. Luke, 91 Maple Ave, Morristown NJ 07960.

OPEN CALL FOR ASSUMPTION’S REENACTMENT OF THE NATIVITY STORY ON CHRISTMAS EVE NOW OPEN
Children of the Parish: Join us on Tuesday, December 24th
at 3:30 p.m. at Assumption Church as we reenact the nativity story. Immediately following at 4:00 p.m. will be the Children’s Christmas Eve Mass.
