Weekly Word April 5, 2020

“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and Alleluia is our song.”

Dear Parents,

I hope all of you are well, healthy, praying for those who are sick and continuing to look forward to better days ahead. Life as we have known it has changed and somehow we didn’t get the “instruction book” to guide us. You are wonderful parents, “Assumption Strong” parents and together, I think we will get through this. We walk by faith!

It’s been enjoyable for me to be in your children’s classrooms and chatting with them. The teachers continue to be enthusiastic and “tweaking” lessons to find what works best. Please know you can contact the teachers with any questions or concerns. Please fill out the parent survey and have your kids fill out their survey as well. The building is being sanitized and will be finished this week so will be ready to go back when the time comes.

The Holy Week live streaming schedule can be found on the Assumption Parish website, www.assumptionparish.org.

As I wrote in the beginning, “do not despair. We are Easter people and Alleluia is our song.” Know I eagerly await the time we can all gather together and shout out our Alleluia.

Love, Sister
