LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS –
ASSUMPTION CHURCH COVID COMPLIANCE CREW
Assumption Church is looking for healthy adult men and women between the ages of 18 to 60 years old to join the Assumption COVID Compliance Crew. Father John and the Assumption Staff hope to re-open the Church over the coming weeks, in anticipation of the governor’s guidance.
The COVID Compliance Crew will partner with the ushers to ensure that the Church is ready to accept parishioners prior to Mass and to sanitize the Church immediately at the Mass’ conclusion.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mike Keown (mk@fostermckay.com or 862.432.9071) or Jeff Paguirigan (jpaguirigan28@yahoo.com or 908.591.8510).
A MESSAGE FROM OUR VBS DIRECTOR
I hope this message finds you and your families healthy and doing well. I’ve been in touch with the Assumption Parish office during this time of quarantine and I wanted to let you know that unfortunately we’ve come to the decision that it will not be possible to conduct Vacation Bible School this Summer. The combination of nearly 200 participants (campers and volunteers) and limited space at Assumption, lead us to this difficult conclusion.
While I truly believe the messages received through the experience of VBS are likely more important now than ever, we also need to remain safe. So this email is sent with a heavy heart as I will miss having an adventure with you on the “Rocky Railroad”, but I know Jesus will pull us through and VBS 2021 will be better than ever!

SUMMER TUTORING
If you would like your child(ren) tutored this summer Grades 1-4. I will be tutoring either virtual or one on one ( whatever is allowed at that time, or whatever you would prefer). If you would like one on one tutoring for your child, I will come to your home. I will be tutoring in the morning hours, so the afternoons are free for the children to have fun.
I am available Monday through Thursdays, 8am to 12pm. If you are interested, please email me for days, times, and fees.
Thank you!

SUMMER TUTORING
I’m available for individual and small group tutoring over the summer. For the time being, the sessions will take place via Google Meets. I will work with students to prevent the “summer slide” in ELA and to help with summer work. Small groups will include no more than 4 students for 1 1/2 hours. Please email or call/text me at 973-222-2110.
Thanks!
Yours,
Kathy Galdieri
