2020 CHRISTMAS STORE

Santa and his elves may have to wear masks and stand 6 feet apart, but preparation is currently underway for this year’s Assumption Christmas Store!  We are calling on volunteers to help at our next crafting session on Wednesday, 10/7 from 7:00 – 9:00pm in the multi-purpose room (down the hall from the PreK 3 classroom). Things will run a little differently this year in order to adhere to Covid-19 safety precautions, starting with a cap on the number of volunteers per session. If you would like to attend the crafting session on 10/7, please email your RSVP to Stephanie Vieira at svieira1129@gmail.com.  You will receive an email back confirming your spot.  Hurry – they will fill up quickly!

For new parents, the Christmas Store is one of the most anticipated days at Assumption where the children can Christmas shop from a huge selection of handmade and store bought presents. This year’s store will include restrictions and precautions to keep the children, teachers and volunteers safe, and may even span the course of two days if needed to ensure social distancing. Crafting sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings, and volunteers will be asked to either help with crafting handmade presents or with gift wrapping.

If you are unable to make it to a crafting session but would like to help out in another way, then at-home wrapping is for you! Contact Meredith Ricciardi at m.ricciardi@optimum.net to arrange for a box of presents that can be wrapped in the comfort of your own home. Wrapping paper will be provided!

The date and logistics of this event are still in the process of being finalized and we greatly appreciate your patience!
Thank you!
